The relationship between humans and charcoal is ancient, believed to date back to the time when people began to use fire. Recently, charcoal has been developed not only as a fuel but also for new functions, leading to various applications. One of the products that has maximized the potential of charcoal, which has become more familiar in our lives, is "washi (Japanese paper) charcoal." Various types of charcoal, such as binchotan and bamboo charcoal, have become very accessible items that keep people's lives clean and comfortable. After years of research, we developed "washi charcoal," further expanding the functionality and potential of charcoal. Additionally, "washi charcoal cloth," made from natural cellulose-based fibers, also helps address environmental issues.
