To Matsudo Co., Ltd. and RITA Electronics, the main FPGA board for the '56G-PAM4 communication board' created during the technical study session aimed at solving customer challenges has been completed! Having finished the basic checks, we will proceed with waveform verification using this board, as well as operational checks in combination with evaluation boards that will be successively completed thereafter. In an increasingly high-speed communication environment, we aim to accumulate high-speed technologies that connect to PCIe Gen6.0, DDR, and 400G Ethernet, and provide solutions to our customers. We will release detailed information as it becomes available, so please stay tuned.

Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to the RTEX FPGA solution that Systec is working on. This time it will be the Intel edition. As an FPGA-IP, it has the following features: - Functionally compatible with the communication ASIC MNM1221 (master operation) - Provided as a netlist for FPGA Soft-IP cores - Capable of cooperative operation with the internal CPU of the FPGA and user circuits - Enables system construction that leverages the characteristics of the FPGA Please check the following YouTube for more information. Realtime Express and RTEX are registered trademarks of Panasonic Holdings Corporation.

Free membership registrationWe have incorporated a "Camera + Edge AI" system, which enhances conventional object detection sensors, into inspection equipment for our customers. This system allows for a more "accurate" assessment of the workpiece's condition, which is difficult to determine with standard sensors alone. In actual equipment testing, the following advantages were observed: - Flexibility in installation location: In situations where it is difficult to install sensors due to the workpiece's position or the relationship with other equipment, if the camera can capture the scene, there is greater freedom in installation. - By combining with programming, judgments beyond ON/OFF conditions can be made freely: Not only can the presence or absence of the workpiece be detected, but new conditions can be added, and multiple conditions can be finely detailed. This allows for buffering the results and notifying them, as well as assisting the subsequent robot controller processing in advance. - If the AI learning is modified, it is easy to add conditions later: Even if unexpected judgments arise after the inspection operation, immediate recovery is possible through additional AI learning. We aim to create a suitable edge system that bridges the gap between situations where judgments cannot be made effectively with sensors alone and where the threshold for introducing an AI system is too high.
