At JEMIC, we assist customers in obtaining certification as a certified testing organization and certification body for the ECHONET Lite standard and ECHONET Lite AIF specifications. The ECHONET Lite standard is a communication protocol that supports over 100 types of devices, ranging from sensors to air conditioning and home appliances. 【Calibration Submission】 Customers are invited to bring their standard instruments, measuring devices, and measurement tools to the headquarters or branch office where they wish to have calibration performed, and calibration will be conducted in our standard testing laboratory. 【Calibration Using Courier Services】 We also accept calibration items using courier services for customers' standard instruments, measuring devices, and measurement tools. 【On-Site Calibration (Field Calibration)】 We will visit the location designated by the customer with a mobile testing vehicle to calibrate standard instruments, measuring devices, and measurement tools. Calibration can also be performed on measuring devices that are integrated into a line and cannot be removed on-site. Note: On-site calibration (field calibration) may not be possible depending on the accuracy and type of standard instruments, measuring devices, and measurement tools. • Calibration and repair

JEMIC's on-site calibration (traveling calibration) involves visiting the designated location with a mobile calibration vehicle to calibrate standard instruments, measuring devices, and other measurement tools. • Public Testing/Laboratory

We will perform JCSS calibration of thermometers with indicating instruments equipped in constant temperature baths and test chambers. Additionally, we also support testing of constant temperature baths and test chambers according to JIS C 60068-3-5, 60068-3-6, and JTM standards. Please note that humidity calibration will be conducted as a general calibration.

• Calibration and repair

When using a photometer for measurement in transactions or certifications, it is mandated by the Measurement Law to use a photometer that has passed inspection. In the Measurement Law, "transaction" refers to any business act aimed at providing goods or services, regardless of whether it is for compensation or not. Additionally, "certification" is defined as publicly or in business declaring that certain facts are true. <Relevant laws regarding photometer inspection (excerpt)> Measurement Law (Restrictions on Use) Article 16 Items that fall under any of the following categories (omitted in parentheses) must not be possessed for use in legal measurement units in transactions or certifications (omitted in parentheses): 1. Items that are not measuring instruments 2. Specific measuring instruments other than those listed below i. Specific measuring instruments that have undergone inspection conducted by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, the governor of a prefecture, the Japan Electric Measuring Instruments Inspection Institute, or any entity designated by the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry (hereinafter referred to as "designated inspection agencies") and have been marked with the inspection certificate seal as specified in Article 72, Paragraph 1.

At JEMIC, we hold various measurement technology seminars, ranging from basic measurement techniques related to electricity and temperature to ISO/IEC 17025 and uncertainty, in order to promote measurement technology in the industrial sector.
