The introduction and operation of AI come with many challenges, including ethics, safety, and legal risks. The international standard for overcoming these challenges and effectively utilizing AI in business is "ISO 42001 (AIMS = AI Management System Certification)." ISO 42001 (AIMS) is a powerful tool for demonstrating proper management and responsible use of AI, thereby gaining trust from customers and society. Our company has been engaged in certification focused on P Mark and ISMS for the past 20 years since its founding. Looking ahead to the future spread of AI, we believe we should work towards ISO 42001 (AIMS). Therefore, we held a seminar focused on ISO 42001, which attracted many attendees. On the day of the seminar, we had presentations from Elcamy, a client of ours that offers AI-related services, as well as from BSI Group Japan, the certification body. Along with explanations from our consultants, we believe we were able to provide an understanding of the benefits of AI, as well as its risks and governance.
