As for the design of OPP bags, there are many customers who request punch holes. The purposes vary, such as holes for displaying products in stores or for attaching to PET bottles for promotional use. This time, we would like to introduce a bag that solves the problem of products tilting when hung for display. Typically, punch holes are often placed in the center, but this time we have positioned the hole off to one side. The location of the hole can be precisely determined by discussing the dimensions on all sides. However, if left as is, the products will move around inside the bag, and the tilting issue cannot be resolved. To address this, we utilize partition seals. By applying the partition seal on the opposite side of the punch hole, we can prevent the products from moving significantly within the bag, and by placing the products on the side with the punch hole, we can also prevent tilting. The lamination process involves bonding OPP film and CPP film together. It is common to use OPP film on the outside for its good ink adhesion and high moisture resistance, and CPP film on the inside for its excellent heat sealability and abrasion resistance. This time, the customer requested OPCP laminated bags. However, we heard that when they had bags made previously, the seal strength was weak, and the sides of the bag's opening were very prone to tearing. The reason for this is that during the lamination process, the tension applied by the machine when bonding the films and the way the adhesive adheres can create slight differences in adhesion at different locations. This can lead to the edges opening when the film is placed on the bag-making machine, resulting in issues with proper sealing of the sides. To resolve this issue, we utilized a "reinforcement seal." When applying the reinforcement seal, we took care to ensure that: - The temperature was not too high to avoid deforming the bag. - The marks left by the reinforcement on the bag were minimized. To address these two points, we made sure to manage the temperature during the process. The problem was successfully resolved, and the customer was satisfied!

There are two types of hanging bags: bottom-loading and top-loading. This time, we would like to introduce a customer's request, stating, "I am worried that the products will fall out of the bag since we are putting heavy items in it..." It is quite rare for bottom-loading hanging bags to experience product drop due to temperature changes or the passage of time. Conversely, with top-loading bags, the film itself supports the weight of the product, eliminating concerns about dropping. For this reason, we proposed the top-loading bag, which the customer agreed to, leading to a formal order. Additionally, there are other advantages to the top-loading type: - It can hold heavier items compared to the bottom-loading type. - It can accommodate thicker products by adding a bottom gusset. We would like to introduce a case study of a bag with corner-cut processing on the lid part. In sealing operations, there are methods that use adhesive on the lid part and those that use tape such as cellophane tape. 1. When sealing with adhesive for products of a certain thickness: If the lid part shifts even slightly from the main body of the bag, the adhesive may protrude from the bag and stick to other products. 2. When sealing with cellophane tape for products of a certain thickness: If the tape is not applied all the way to the edges, it may peel up, resulting in an unsightly appearance. For point 1, even if the seal is slightly misaligned, it can prevent the lid part from protruding from the main body of the bag. Our products typically feature bags with corners on all four sides, but this time we incorporated a shoulder drop processing based on the following customer requests: 1. For a bag that holds a lunch box, we want to ensure that the corners at the top of the bag do not protrude when the product is placed inside. 2. Now, regarding the shoulder drop processing, when inserting thicker products, it is usually necessary to make the header part longer than the width of the product. However, this increases unnecessary portions of the bag and distorts its shape, taking up extra space during display. Therefore, we decided to implement the shoulder drop processing. We made the header part smaller than the product width from the start and cut both ends of the upper part of the header diagonally. This allows us to achieve a fit that matches the product size and eliminate unnecessary blank areas in the bag, increasing the number of different types that can be displayed in one location from three to four. In fact, bags with shoulder drop processing save about 10-20% more space compared to regular bags. This time, we would like to introduce a bag-making case for a customer who requested notch processing. The shape of the notch that we can handle is the hexagonal notch. The overall size is 3mm in height and 6mm in width, and the width of the notch to be processed will be adjusted according to the needs of the bag (there may be slight variations in width depending on the product). With standard films, wrinkles are indeed more likely to occur, and the degree of wrinkling can vary depending on the temperature of the heat applied. Therefore, we proposed the use of single-sided heat seal film. This film can be fused at lower temperatures compared to standard films, which helps reduce wrinkles compared to high-temperature heat treatment. With regular films, even the same gold color tends to appear somewhat dull in the printing finish. This time, the printing was done on OPP film, but by layering aluminum vapor-deposited film over it, we achieved a glossy gold finish. The difference in color alone makes it stand out from other products, contributing to differentiation from competitors. The cost is about 30% higher than regular films, but the customer was satisfied and placed a formal order. Aluminum vapor-deposited film has high moisture resistance and light-blocking properties, which helps keep the contents in good condition, and since the products inside are not visible from the outside, it also offers high confidentiality, making it commonly used for clothing and trading card bags. There are various types of films used for bag making, and this time we would like to introduce a bag-making case using matte film. We received a request from a customer stating, "We want to improve the visibility of our products when displayed outdoors, as sunlight makes them difficult to see due to reflections." While standard OPP film enhances the appearance of products due to its high transparency, this transparency also makes light reflections more noticeable. In response to the customer's request, we decided to use a matte film, which is different from standard films. Matte film, also known as non-gloss film, helps to soften light reflections and significantly improves product visibility. However, it should be noted that it does not completely eliminate reflections. Additionally, matte film has a calm atmosphere and offers a more premium feel compared to standard films. In this case, we used OPP matte film alone, but it is also possible to laminate it with CPP film for bag making.
