We would like to introduce the "RoHS/ELV Directive Electronic Report." By attaching an "electronic signature" and "timestamp" to the PDF file of the report, it is possible to prove that the report was issued by our company and has not been tampered with. Additionally, with delivery via email, there is no time loss from shipping to arrival at the client. 【Benefits of Implementation】 ■ Reduction of storage space due to paperless operation ■ Shortened delivery time until the original document is delivered ■ Prevention of tampering ■ In the unlikely event that data is tampered with, the changes will be recorded, allowing for the determination of whether it is the original document or not. *For more details, please refer to the PDF materials or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"LC/MS (Orbitrap ID-X)" specializes in structural analysis of components and clarifies the detected components. In particular, due to "high-resolution mass spectrometry" and "multi-stage MS," the amount of information obtained compared to conventional devices is significantly greater. Additionally, with the latest analysis software, it possesses high analytical capabilities and can analyze substances that are not publicly available. A new structural analysis service has been added to the over 70-year history of material analysis at Senju Metal Industry. [Application Examples] ■ Structural analysis of components in chemical products - Verification of performance differences in products ■ Structural analysis of decomposition products and impurities - Analysis of unintentionally contained components - Confirmation of the generation of regulated substances - Investigation of causes during the occurrence of defects *For more details, please refer to the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationRegarding PFOA, it was decided at the review committee (POPRC) held in September 2018 that it would be recommended for addition to the list of substances for elimination at the next meeting (COP9, April to May 2019). ■Current Regulations EU PFOA is listed in REACH Annex 17 as a restricted substance, with a threshold of 25 ppb. The Stockholm Convention will recommend its addition to Annex A for elimination. As for similar substances, PFOS has been subject to regulatory restrictions under the Stockholm Convention for some time. There is a possibility that PFHxS may also become a regulated substance as a substance of concern in the future. *For more details, please refer to the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationPhthalate esters are primarily used as plasticizers for polyvinyl chloride, resins, and chlorinated rubber, as well as in paints, pigments, and adhesives, and are a concern as endocrine disruptors. ■ Characteristics of Phthalate Esters - They have high migratory potential and are easily contaminated from substances containing phthalate esters. - They do not contain characteristic elements, making screening tests using fluorescent X-ray impossible. ■ New RoHS Directive - Implementation: July 22, 2019 (EU market) - Additional regulated substances: DEHP (Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate) BBP (Butyl benzyl phthalate) DBP (Dibutyl phthalate) DIBP (Diisobutyl phthalate) - Threshold: 1000ppm/homogeneous material - Certification: The Industrial Analysis Center is an ISO17025 accredited organization. - Note: Certification obtained for the phthalate ester analysis standard IEC62321-8. *ISO17025 certification obtained for all 10 restricted substances related to the RoHS directive. *For more details, please refer to the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationCurrently, under the RoHS directive, exemptions are established for the six restricted substances for applications where technical alternatives are difficult to obtain, allowing limited use. A formal conclusion regarding exemptions that had expired was published in the official gazette on May 18, 2018. 【Exemption periods for lead in alloys (excerpt)】 - Alloys in steel for machining applications, in zinc-coated steel (Pb: 0.35%) - 1–7, 10: July 21, 2019 - Hot-dip galvanized steel (Pb: 0.2%) - 1–7, 10: July 21, 2021 - Alloys in steel for machining applications, in zinc-coated steel (Pb: 0.35%) - 8–9: July 21, 2021 - 8 (In vitro): July 21, 2023 - 9 (Industrial) -11: July 21, 2024 *For more details, please refer to the PDF or feel free to contact us.*
