TrueGrid is a specialized software for creating hexahedral (quadrilateral) meshes with advanced technology for finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation codes. TrueGrid's unique approach to mesh generation can reduce time and produce high-quality elements even for complex shape models. In this seminar, we will explain key and effective features of TrueGrid's approach. Additionally, we will include a demonstration of generating hexahedral meshes for a three-dimensional shape model to illustrate the characteristics and usability of TrueGrid.

When displayed using Acrobat Reader (the free version) that is commonly used in daily operations, you can interactively rotate, move, and zoom in and out on the three-dimensional shapes using mouse operations. Additionally, you can hide certain shapes or view them in animation. When creating technical documents by converting simulation results into images, there are often times when the images you want from the desired angles are not available when you later review those documents. By utilizing 3D PDFs, you can solve such problems and effectively utilize past materials. In this seminar, we will explain the necessary tasks for creating 3D PDFs, along with the benefits of 3D PDFs, using PDF3D ReportGen, a tool for converting various 3D data into 3D PDFs, and we will include a live demonstration.

Simulation technologies represented by machine learning and CAE differ in their approaches, being data-driven and model-driven methods respectively, but the structure of the problem of "predicting output results based on input values" is common to both. By combining these two, there are expectations for speeding up predictions and applying them to the optimization of design problems. However, in the fields of CAE and design, there are still few examples of applications utilizing machine learning. In this seminar, we will introduce the efforts of Super Link Japan in the field of CAE regarding machine learning, along with demonstration cases of optimal design for automotive parts applying data-driven design.

Free membership registrationTo accurately analyze rubber products, it is crucial to correctly measure the strain energy of rubber materials, and for that, a biaxial tensile testing machine is indispensable. However, there is only one biaxial tensile testing machine available at public institutions such as public testing facilities, and commercially available biaxial tensile testing machines are very expensive, which limits the environments where biaxial tensile testing can be utilized. Therefore, we have equipped a tabletop small testing machine with a fixture for biaxial tensile testing, creating an environment where anyone can easily conduct biaxial tensile tests. In this seminar, we will explain the identification of material properties for CAE analysis along with a measurement demonstration using an actual biaxial tensile testing machine. We will also introduce testing services such as contract testing, rental of testing machines, and provision of fixture drawings.
