We would like to introduce a case study of how we addressed our customer's challenges and requests. In this case, the processing of a relatively difficult material, A2017, was the main issue. Therefore, by using a fixture called a "form clamp," we were able to achieve the tolerance of the inner circle and coaxial accuracy. 【Case Overview】 ■Challenges - Processing of a relatively difficult material, A2017, which is an aluminum alloy. - Processing of large items over Φ300, while needing to achieve inner circle precision. - Difficult to process and labor-intensive. - Since it is round, using a lathe would be ideal, but it is too large to grip. - Unable to achieve coaxial accuracy. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of how we addressed our customer's challenges and requests. In this case, the customer developed a new resin product, but needed a fixed jig for the printing process on the product. Based on a sample jig made from a clay-based material that the customer provided, we proposed a jig product design with aluminum processing in mind, and after going through design prototyping, we manufactured about 40 jigs. [Case Overview] ■Challenge - A fixed jig is needed for the printing process on the product. ■Proposal - We proposed a jig product design with aluminum processing in mind. - We manufactured a prototype and conducted manufacturing considerations while having the customer evaluate it. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce examples of how we addressed our customers' challenges and requests. In the machining of aluminum plates, there was a case where, during the process of machining to a thickness of 0.4mm, bulging and distortion occurred on the backside due to machining stress from the machine. By increasing the number of rough machining processes and machining as close to the final shape as possible, followed by final processing using a chucking method that does not generate fixed stress, we were able to suppress the occurrence of distortion and meet the flatness requirements for the outer surface of the product. [Case Overview] ■ Challenges - Bulging and distortion on the backside due to machining stress from the machine - Need to process a product that requires a flatness of 3/100mm for the entire product ■ Proposal - Increase the number of rough machining processes and machine as close to the final shape as possible - Final processing using a chucking method that does not generate fixed stress *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce examples of how we addressed our customers' challenges and requests. There was a case where we wanted to process thin stainless steel plates (t=0.3), but normal chucking with a vice caused distortion due to stress. Therefore, we proposed fixing the workpiece without using a vice by utilizing a cryogenic chuck, allowing us to create counterbores without leaving cutting marks on the backside. 【Case Summary】 ■Challenge - Distortion due to stress occurred with normal chucking using a vice. ■Proposal - Fixed the workpiece without using a vice by utilizing a cryogenic chuck for processing. ■Result - Successfully created counterbores without leaving cutting marks on the backside. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
