Free membership registrationOn June 10, Japan Distribution Management Support Organization Co., Ltd. conducted a "sake origin authentication" using a service that applies technology used in diamond origin certification. As a result, we report that we were able to pinpoint the exact origin of "which sake brewery it was produced in." This authentication was voluntarily conducted by our company to demonstrate the technology. This authentication uses our "scientific" origin certification service, "Origin Seal," to identify the precise origin of "which sake brewery it was produced in." Sake is said to be more difficult to authenticate compared to wine because its raw materials are only "water" and "rice." In this context, we conducted an analysis at the molecular level of water and rice to determine whether it matches the original (authentic). For this authentication, we used a total of 9 bottles from 3 different brands produced in 3 prefectures (Niigata, Gunma, and Kyoto), each with different manufacturing dates. Free membership registrationJapan Distribution Management Support Organization Co., Ltd. has launched a service called "Proof of Origin" that utilizes origin certification technology with numerous achievements worldwide. This service certifies the origin of agricultural products, marine products, sake, and meat at the level of fields, farms, and breeding locations through trace element and isotope analysis used in diamond origin identification and forensic science. It enables the prevention and verification of origin fraud for agricultural products that were manufactured overseas from stolen seedlings or seeds and are being disguised as "Made in Japan," thus protecting the brand and profits of Japanese agricultural, forestry, and fishery products.

Free membership registrationJapan Distribution Management Support Organization Co., Ltd. released a video on February 7 (Wednesday) introducing a service case of the traceability system for export sweet potatoes provided at the shipping facility in Tomakomai, which is one of the largest sorting facilities for sweet potatoes in Japan since 2022. The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries aims to increase the export value of agricultural, forestry, and fishery products and food to 2 trillion yen by 2025 and 5 trillion yen by 2030, and is implementing measures to expand exports. However, there are challenges such as significant costs incurred domestically due to complaints from export destinations that cannot identify the causes. Our traceability system, "Agriculture and Fisheries Traceability," digitizes information about producers and others simply by passing it through a conveyor, contributing to the identification of causes of spoilage and trouble resolution at the export destination.

Free membership registrationThe Japan Distribution Management Support Organization has launched a child cafeteria search site called "OPEN! Child Cafeteria." This site aggregates data on child cafeterias published by various organizations, allowing users to efficiently search for child cafeterias beyond the framework of individual organizations. At the same time, it functions as a matching site that connects producers in agriculture and fisheries who are struggling with food waste to operators of child cafeterias seeking ingredients, aiming to reduce food loss and alleviate the burden of ingredient donations. This site is not just a collection of links to child cafeterias. It provides a personal page that allows both donors and child cafeteria operators to log in and use the site, facilitating quick matching between donors and operators for non-monetary donations.
