The award-winning product "Liquid Desiccant Air Handling Unit: LDAHU" is an air conditioning unit that simultaneously performs humidity control and temperature regulation while utilizing waste heat from cogeneration. In addition to high-temperature hot water and steam from cogeneration, cooling waste heat from the intercooler is generated, but much of it, being around 37°C, is often discarded at cooling towers. The LDAHU uses this waste heat as a heat source for regenerating the humidity control liquid in summer (for concentration adjustment) and as a heat source for humidification and heating in winter, thereby improving the efficiency of cogeneration throughout the year and making full use of the low-temperature waste heat from the intercooler.
