Our company supports BTA deep hole machining, which discharges chips with high-pressure, large volumes of cutting oil while also providing cooling. In the BTA method, cutting oil is supplied to the cutting area through a pressure plate via the gap between the hole inner surface and the boring bar (hollow pipe), and chips are discharged through the inside of the boring bar. As a result, the finished surface is cleaner and free of burrs compared to conventional drilling processes.
