Termites find it difficult to locate food, and the coated surface is so hard that it can wear down a coin when rubbed against it, preventing them from entering the wood. "Thermal Guard AS" is an environmentally friendly multifunctional one-component acrylic silicone resin water-based paint that features high reflectivity, high shielding, high heat dissipation, high weather resistance, dirt resistance, and antibacterial properties. By applying specially processed fine crushed silica to a composite metal ion solution, various additives are incorporated into the silica's voids, maintaining strong cross-linking (hybrid) properties, resulting in light-blocking, heat-shielding, and heat-dissipating effects due to the high-density silica. Additionally, it has antibacterial and dirt-resistant functions due to metal ions, and it can be applied with a brush, roller, or airless spray in the same manner as conventional application methods, with a thin finish of 150μm (microns). We would like to introduce the special bamboo charcoal conductive paint 'e-pass' handled by ASTRO Corporation. The bamboo charcoal used in this product is made from domestically sourced bamboo. It utilizes high-purity carbon with a carbon content of 96%, which is safe and reliable as it has removed harmful heavy metals (such as mercury, arsenic, lead, and hexavalent chromium) that are already present in the bamboo (raw material). By applying this paint, wooden structures can maintain a healthy condition over the long term and ensure comfortable living performance. Additionally, it enables the quantification and evaluation of the condition of the structure according to domestic patent No. 5793784. This method allows for continuous monitoring without causing damage to finishes (non-destructive), facilitating easy inspections and accurate repairs (maintenance). It corresponds to the 'visualization' of structural evaluations in stock housing and is a CO2-sequestering (CO2 stock) environmentally conscious construction method.
