Our technology enables the transport of drugs into the brain across the blood-brain barrier through a mechanism known as transcytosis, by combining glucose ligand-modified polymer nanoparticles and blood glucose level control that activates GLUT1 circulation. Biodegradable carriers at the nanoscale can extend the circulation of drugs in the body and protect the drugs from the drug excretion mechanisms of the blood-brain barrier after they have been transported into the brain. 【Flow】 1: Glucose-modified polymer micelles interact with GLUT1 and are taken up by brain vascular endothelial cells. 2: The micelles move within the brain vascular endothelial cells. 3: The micelles detach from GLUT1 on the brain parenchyma side and transition into the brain parenchyma. 4: The micelles reach the neurons. 5: GLUT1 is reused. *For more details, please download the PDF or contact us.
