We are pleased to announce that the cumulative production and shipment of the ocean observation instruments "XBT (eXpendable Bathy Thermograph)" and "XCTD (eXpendable Conductivity, Temperature and Depth) probes," manufactured and sold by Tsurumi Seiki Co., Ltd. (Location: Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture; President: Kenji Yamamoto), reached one million units in July 2025. Since the start of production in 1960, the XBT and XCTD probes have been widely adopted by research and survey institutions around the world for over 60 years. They have been utilized for measuring seawater temperature, electrical conductivity, and more, significantly contributing to the research and analysis of climate change and marine resources. ~Towards further technological innovation and the realization of a sustainable environment~ Since its founding, Tsurumi Seiki has continued to pursue accurate water quality measurement technology, with the corporate philosophy of "measuring water in all fields and providing correct knowledge and insights."
