Free membership registrationStainless steel 316LVM, which is difficult to obtain domestically. Our company primarily offers this excellent medical metal material in the form of bar stock and wire. The 316LVM we handle (product name: Ergste 1.4441LA) is produced in Germany by the European metal manufacturer ZAPP and is already being stably supplied to domestic customers. In addition to achieving ultra-high purity and cleanliness, 316LVM is mainly used in surgical implant products due to its excellent mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. ASTM F138 ISO 5832–1 UNS S31673 EN-No. 1.4441 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registration"Ergste 9.9007CN" is a high-performance stainless steel characterized by high strength, non-magnetic properties, and being nickel-free. It contains very little nickel and has high biocompatibility, making it suitable for use in medical device products. Additionally, it is appropriate for products that come into contact with the human body, such as watches, glasses, and accessories, which are likely to cause metal allergies. For melting, carefully selected high-purity raw materials are used. As a result, the nickel content is below 0.05%, and the level of micro-slag inclusion is very low. [Features] ■ Biocompatibility: Nickel-free > 0.05 ■ High strength: 1400-2800 MPa in the size range of 0.10-15mm ■ High corrosion resistance: PREN 32-36 ■ Non-magnetic: 1.004-1.005μr ■ High purity: A [sulfides] B [oxides] thin 1.5μm 1.5μm heavy 1.0μm 1.0μm *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe steel type has aimed to exclude nickel from the development stage to enhance biocompatibility. High-purity raw materials have been carefully selected for melting. As a result, the nickel content is below 0.05%, and the level of micro-slag inclusion is very low. Additionally, pressurized electro-slag remelting (P-ESR) is performed for re-melting. Traditionally, the chemical composition of nickel-free high-nitrogen stainless steel contained high levels of 1% nitrogen and 20% manganese. Since the solubility of nitrogen is limited, a higher nitrogen content tends to form chromium nitride precipitates. Manganese must retain nitrogen in the solid solution, which also compromises corrosion resistance. Furthermore, machinability becomes more difficult as the nitrogen content increases. The solution to these issues was to replace nitrogen with carbon. In traditional metallurgy, a high carbon content in conventional austenite is disadvantageous. However, when used in combination with nitrogen and carbon, it resolves the problems caused by excessive nitrogen usage. At ZAPP, careful and thorough analysis was conducted in the development of this steel type to achieve a balanced composition design and realize its commercialization.
