The customer cut the parts they were previously using and added a retaining feature. At a certain manufacturing site, it was said that they were traditionally using long pins (as shown in the photo) but are transitioning to shorter ones. The customer requested whether it would be possible to reuse existing parts, as ordering new parts from scratch would result in a large lot size. Although the parts were not originally made by our company, we created a simple device and processed them accordingly.
