During busy times, payments can be processed simultaneously at the POS register (for staff) as a means of distributing the workload. Deposit management (daily report output, accounts receivable management) and searching and displaying past payment information are possible. The staff's payment screen can handle transactions other than ORCA billing. ■Linked with ORCA, it can accommodate both outpatient and inpatient billing. Both the automatic payment machine and the POS register can handle billing for outpatients and inpatients. Staff can specify inpatient billing patients for month-end closing or discharge on the POS register side.
