Traditionally, we have been inspecting the internal and external surfaces of cylindrical workpieces using a 360-degree lens. Now, we have developed lighting that has similar functionality to a 360-degree lens. With this special optical structure, we can effectively extract the condition of the internal and external surfaces of cylindrical workpieces. We can inspect the internal and external surfaces of cylindrical workpieces with a height of up to 20mm and a diameter of up to 20mm, and in the future, we will be able to inspect cylindrical workpieces of even larger sizes.

The mobile glass cover is transparent, making it difficult to detect surface defects. Traditionally, inspections have been conducted using structured lighting, but the algorithms are complex and slow. With this specially structured line scan tunnel lighting, surface defects can be effectively detected, and the speed is fast. It creates a new speed in the glass cover industry.

In cases where UV adhesives are tested with UV lighting such as rings or bars, the uniformity and brightness of the UV lighting are often insufficient, leading to issues with the effective extraction of the UV adhesive. With a special optical structure, the light from UV collimated lighting can be well concentrated on the surface of the workpiece, allowing for better extraction of the UV adhesive.

When inspecting a workpiece with a long working distance using standard coaxial illumination, the light rays emitted from the standard coaxial illumination are diffused, resulting in insufficient brightness in certain fields of view. The longer the working distance, the more the light rays are diffused. To solve this problem, it is necessary for the light rays emitted from the axial illumination to have excellent light gathering properties even at long working distances. A special optical design was adopted to develop concentrated coaxial illumination, which achieves ten times the brightness compared to standard coaxial illumination at the same working distance.

When conducting internal inspections on cylindrical objects, do you have any concerns? At times, it can be difficult to find suitable lenses, making internal inspections on cylindrical objects challenging, and appropriate solutions may not be available. Internal inspections on cylindrical objects with large diameters and heights are even more difficult. To solve this problem, we developed a 360-degree lens. With this lens, it is possible to conduct internal inspections on cylindrical objects with diameters of up to 120mm and heights of up to 123mm.

Conventional line scan lighting illuminates from one direction, allowing for the detection of horizontal defects in scratches, but it is difficult to extract vertical scratches. To solve this problem, we have developed high-brightness line scan lighting that can illuminate from both directions, enabling the extraction of both horizontal and vertical scratches. Custom sizes and other specifications are available.
