Free membership registrationEpson's dry office paper-making machine, "PaperLab," can decompose used paper into fibers and produce new paper. After inputting waste paper, the first sheet of recycled paper is completed in about three minutes, and approximately 720 sheets (90g/m2, A4 size) can be produced in one hour. It allows for customization of thickness, whiteness, and color addition according to usage. Unlike conventional papermaking methods, it features a unique technology that can recycle with minimal water usage. There is no need to prepare large-scale water supply and drainage facilities, making it suitable for installation in offices. **Benefits of Implementation** - Confidential information is fiberized and completely erased within the company (Security Level P7 / SK2 ISO/IEC 21964-2). *Note: Level 7 = the highest level of information erasure standards.* - Recycled paper can be upcycled not only into copy paper but also into business cards and notebooks, contributing to waste reduction. - Reduces CO2 emissions generated during paper transportation, lowering environmental impact. - Enables the establishment of new business flows and contributes to the expansion of employment for people with disabilities. ★ We are currently offering examples of how the implementation of "PaperLab" has led to the "expansion of employment for people with disabilities." Free membership registrationEpson proposes a sustainable office environment suitable for the era of SDGs, starting from "paper"! We print with inkjet printers and recycle used paper within the office using the dry office papermaking machine, PaperLab. This paper is then reused in various forms such as copy paper, calendars, and business cards. As a result, we significantly reduce the amount of copy paper used and the office's electricity consumption, while also achieving reductions in printing costs and complete erasure of confidential information within the office. 【Electricity reduced by inkjet printers】110,000 kWh※1 → This is equivalent to powering Tokyo Tower for about 3.5 months! 【New paper recycled by the dry office papermaking machine, PaperLab】1,725,795 sheets (9.7 tons)※2 → This corresponds to the reduction of 105 trees, 18.83 million liters of water※3, and 4.81 tons of CO2! The environmentally conscious office is involved in 7 SDGs goals: 【Goal 6】【Goal 7】【Goal 8】【Goal 9】 【Goal 11】【Goal 12】【Goal 15】 *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case study of the 'PaperLab' handled by Epson Sales Corporation. In Ota Ward, a plan for promoting eco-friendly offices at the ward office has been formulated, and the ward office itself is working to reduce its environmental impact. One of the challenges that emerged during this initiative was the "reduction of copy paper usage." To address this issue, they introduced 'PaperLab.' To reduce paper usage, it is necessary to visualize the efforts and change the awareness of each staff member. The fact that new paper is created from used copy paper right in front of them has a significant impact. Elementary school students visiting the ward office for social studies field trips are also able to observe this process. In the PDF document, we clearly present the challenges leading up to the introduction and the effects afterward in an interview format. For more details, please refer to the PDF document or contact Epson Sales using the button below.

Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to a case study on the dry office paper machine "PaperLab," which we handle. Setagaya Service Corporation is undertaking a project with the concept of "local production for local consumption of paper," aiming not only to recycle paper resources used in the ward office and improve security but also to promote awareness reform among ward office staff and local residents. In this context, "PaperLab" has been introduced, and preparations for full-scale operation have begun. "We thought that by using this, we could achieve local production for local consumption of paper, and it would fit perfectly with our activities at Setagaya Service Corporation." In the PDF document, we clearly present the challenges leading up to the introduction and the effects after implementation in an interview format. Free membership registrationThis is an introduction to the case study of our dry office paper machine, "PaperLab." In the entire office, we have been outsourcing the incineration of used documents to an external specialist once a month. However, the documents handled by the Citizen Affairs Division contain many important personal information, including My Number information, which requires strict consideration in their processing. To address this issue, we decided to introduce "PaperLab." Sakata City is working towards "realizing an environmentally friendly society" as part of its efforts to promote environmental conservation and waste management, focusing on reducing waste and promoting recycling. The PDF document clearly presents the challenges before the introduction and the effects after the introduction in an interview format.
