We received an inquiry from a mold manufacturer regarding a regrinding case we worked on, which involved a significant number of regrinding areas: 1. Cut 2. Bottom blade 3. Corner R0.2. After grinding, we applied a Cr-based multilayer (equivalent to OSG standard WDI) coating. A radius end mill is characterized by having rounded corners on the bottom blade, and using this tool allows for machining with a relatively smooth shape due to the rounded edges of the blade.
