In 5G communication, network connections are established through SIM authentication, but in environments where 5G communication is unavailable, Wi-Fi connections are expected to be an option. However, Wi-Fi connections typically use authentication methods other than SIM authentication, and since existing 5GC user information and SIM cannot be utilized, there is a demand for improvements in convenience and security. Please note that the alpha version for PoC is software intended for verifying the feasibility of SIM authentication and does not guarantee performance or operation in long-term use. "Griffas" is an authentication gateway product that manages network access permissions through user authentication using ID/password and device authentication via the web. It manages devices based on IP addresses. User accounts can be registered in Griffas, but it is also possible to integrate with external servers (RADIUS server, LDAP server).
