A joint development by Sumitomo Rubber Industries, Ltd. and Kansai University has been undertaken to realize the "tire internal power generation technology." We have successfully extracted the charge generated by the friction electrification phenomenon occurring between positively and negatively charged films as electrical power within the tire. By incorporating a power control circuit, we have added the functionality to charge power from the power generation device. This enables power supply to sensors that require batteries, such as batteries. Additionally, the tire internal power generation technology could be one solution to the battery life issue of external sensor devices. 【Features】 ■ Generates power through tire rotation ■ Charges the power control circuit and confirms power supply to external sensors ■ Enables sensing without batteries ■ Ensures durability to withstand harsh environments within the tire ■ Enables power supply to sensors that require batteries *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe "rubber elastic material for 3D printers" developed by our company is a 3D printer material that possesses rubber elasticity and strength. By forming a chemical network, we have successfully achieved the recovery properties of rubber after UV curing. It has actual rubber performance that is different from rubber-like materials, allowing for the creation of rubber-shaped objects using a 3D printer. *3D modeling is produced using the SLA method. 【Features】 ■ The compression permanent deformation is equivalent to or better than that of typical vulcanized rubber at 0.9%. ■ It has low hysteresis loss and possesses spring-like performance. ■ Shore A hardness is between 40 and 50 (other hardness levels are under development). ■ The material is colorless and transparent and can be colored. *For more details, please refer to the materials. Please consult us regarding technical information, applications, and joint research related to this material.
