We would like to introduce the "Organic Fertilizer Effectiveness Test/Decomposition Characteristics Test" that we conduct. The organic fertilizer effectiveness test analyzes the amount of nitrogen components contained in organic fertilizers that are actually absorbed by crops, as well as investigating characteristics such as decomposition rates. We analyze the amount of nitrogen from organic fertilizers that is absorbed and utilized by plants. We would like to introduce the "Nematode-related Tests" conducted by the Environmental Management Center Co., Ltd. In nematode diagnostics, we perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of harmful nematodes present in fields and rice paddies. In nematode control efficacy tests, we verify the effectiveness of chemicals and materials used to prevent damage to crops caused by nematodes. We would like to introduce the "Rice Yield and Quality Survey" offered by the Environmental Management Center Co., Ltd. High-temperature damage and other factors can lead to a decrease in rice yield and a decline in quality. The measurement items include yield survey (number of ears, weight of grains, weight of brown rice) and brown rice quality survey (thousand grain weight, moisture content, grade). Additionally, we can accept surveys only through sample submission. We would like to introduce the "Plant Damage Test / Young Plant Test" offered by the Environmental Management Center Co., Ltd. The plant damage test is a cultivation test concerning harm to plants, and it is a test required for registering fertilizers as stipulated by the Fertilizer Quality Assurance Act. Additionally, customization of the test specifications is possible. In addition to increasing the treatment blocks for the plant damage test, we can evaluate the activity of the plant body through measurements such as stomatal conductance (an indicator of photosynthesis) and chlorophyll fluorescence. We would like to introduce the Agricultural Business Development Department of the Environmental Management Center Co., Ltd. We conduct agricultural material development tests in a one-stop system, performing indoor screening tests for safety confirmation on plants and effectiveness tests against various stressors and nematodes during the early to mid-stages of development at our agricultural environment lab. We would like to introduce the "Biostimulant Effect Test" that we are conducting. Biostimulant materials are substances that enhance the physiological activity of plants and improve stress resistance. The types of stress include high temperature (acute and chronic), drought (intermittent), low temperature, and frost damage. In the case of high temperature stress tests, we investigated above-ground biomass/dry weight, below-ground biomass/dry weight, plant height, SPAD values, and damage levels of true leaves, and found that in the acute high temperature treatment group, the growth amount of BS was higher than that of NC.
