"OF Coat" activates the substrate through plasma irradiation, and forms a strong bond with the substrate through siloxane bonds with fluorine-based silane coupling agents, resulting in a highly adhesive coating that possesses water-repellent, oil-repellent, and non-stick properties. The film thickness is extremely thin at just a few nanometers, improving the wear resistance that was a drawback of conventional fluororesin coatings, and expanding applications in areas such as blades that were difficult to utilize due to film thickness, as well as release effects for precision molds and rubber molds.
