The proceeds from the sale of the collected caps and stamps will be used to purchase vaccines for children in developing countries through the certified NPO "Japan Committee for Vaccines for the World's Children" (hereinafter referred to as JCV). This initiative not only supports children in developing countries but also contributes to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by recycling plastic bottle caps that would otherwise be incinerated. Additionally, since it is an initiative that employees can easily participate in, it is expected to enhance awareness of sustainability within the company. This year, activities have started mainly at business locations in the Tokyo and Ibaraki areas, such as the headquarters and the Tsukuba plant. Our group will continue to advance its sustainability efforts toward the realization of a sustainable society. TOSO INDUSTRY INDONESIA. Since the fiscal year 2009, our group has been continuously conducting reforestation activities in cooperation with the Forest Science Department of Bogor Agricultural University and the Walet Mountain Research Institute. Starting from the fiscal year 2011, we established a "donation for reforestation activities" as part of our shareholder benefit program, and we have made donations along with the equivalent amount of benefits for those who did not apply for this year's shareholder benefits. This year, we donated 654,000 yen. In the Republic of Indonesia, the reduction of forests due to excessive logging has become a serious issue, resulting in various problems.
