By predicting the belt tension in the low-tension spiral design phase, optimal belt selection and operating conditions can be considered. Additionally, by simulating the tension on the belt in existing spirals, we can identify issues and support maintenance and belt replacement planning.

Free membership registrationThis belt is composed of plastic links, a modular body, and stainless steel rods. It has a significantly higher opening rate compared to resin belts, providing substantial advantages in hygiene and handling. The robust links at the ends of the belt can withstand tension loads of up to 1000 pounds, maximizing production capacity. In terms of operating temperature, it can handle a wide range of applications, reaching up to 180°F (82°C) despite being made of plastic. Its unique rod retention mechanism eliminates the need for clips or fasteners, allowing for quick repairs and replacements with a small driver. Compared to other companies' plastic spiral belts, it is designed to accommodate a wide range of usage conditions, considering product conveyance, opening rate, hygiene, and applications from freezer use to general use.

Free membership registrationIn 1988, we obtained a patent and subsequently provided manufacturing technology licenses to domestic manufacturers in Japan, contributing to the development of the domestic market. • The extremely compact nose bar allows for transport at a minimum distance of 5.1mm, reducing product loss rates. • The precisely woven mesh responds stably to changes in ambient temperature, ensuring accurate transport of products. • The combination of highly durable stainless steel belts and ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene sprockets (stainless steel options are also available) guarantees a long lifespan while minimizing maintenance time compared to single-layer products and those from other companies. • The balanced woven design makes cleaning and disinfection easy, which can also reduce associated costs. • We can provide sprockets, shafts, support bearings, and filler rolls with stock items that meet industry-standard widths (please refer to the chart).

Free membership registrationThe Posidrive spiral is a spiral system that drives the belt by completely engaging a ribbed belt and cage, unlike traditional low-tension spirals that drive the belt through friction with a rotating drum. Features: - Smooth product travel (less likely to disrupt alignment) - Reduces interference between products and prevents damage to appearance - No need for overdrive adjustment; simple speed adjustment - Can be modified from existing low-tension systems - Abundant options for belts and accessories - Examples of achievements: https://youtu.be/i9zSwrelzT0

Free membership registration- The allowable tensile strength is 1.5 times higher compared to the conventional heavy-duty link specification omnigrid belt (based on our comparison). Some manufacturers do not specify the allowable tension of their belts, but at Ashworth, reliable engineers verify specifications such as allowable tensile strength based not only on data from simple tensile tests but also on years of accumulated performance worldwide and long-term operational data from tests conducted in our own factory. Without presenting data, measuring the belt's tension can lead to a lack of a comparative basis, rendering the examination meaningless. - It can accommodate small-radius spirals with a turn ratio (drum radius/belt width) of up to 1.7 without the need for special belts. At a 1.5-inch pitch, the turn ratio (drum radius/belt width) is 1.6, allowing for small-radius drum-type spirals equivalent to the conventional reduced radius omnigrid. - The head section is fully welded, making it stronger compared to traditional bridge welding, and there are no dead spaces where food residues can accumulate. By processing the rod contact area into a rounded recess (coining), the contact surface area with the rod is increased, significantly reducing wear. - Please refer to the video on the web. https://www.ashworth.com/
