We are strengthening our proposal of ionic liquids in the Japanese market in collaboration with Zhejiang Landor Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd., which has a sole distribution agency agreement in Japan. An introductory article was published in the Electronic Device Industry Newspaper on December 18, 2025. Zhejiang Landor Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. is currently constructing a factory in Jiangsu Province with one of the largest production capacities in the world for ionic liquids. The production capacity will be approximately 30,000 tons per year, making it one of the largest in the world. Traditionally, ionic liquids have faced challenges such as cost, purity, and large-scale production, making full commercialization difficult. However, Zhejiang Landor has resolved these issues through its extensive knowledge accumulated as a specialized manufacturer of ionic liquids. They are currently building a database of over 1,000 types of ionic liquids. Our company and Zhejiang Landor Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd. signed a distribution agency agreement in 2022 for Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, and India, and both parties are working together to further promote and expand the market for ionic liquids. Additionally, we have set up a special page on our website regarding ionic liquids, so if you are interested, please feel free to refer to it.

Our company has participated as a supporting corporate member in the "Japan Immersion Consortium," aimed at energy conservation in data centers and reducing environmental impact. We will contribute to the construction of next-generation data centers through the promotion of immersion cooling technology and the development and proposal of related materials. With the rapid proliferation of AI and HPC (high-performance computing), the power consumption of data centers is increasing, and the limitations of traditional air cooling methods are becoming apparent. To address these challenges, immersion cooling technology, which can significantly improve PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness), is gaining attention. Immersion cooling enhances heat transfer efficiency by directly submerging servers in cooling liquid, contributing to reduced cooling power and lower CO₂ emissions. We are collaborating with overseas manufacturers in Korea and China to propose high-performance materials such as insulating cooling liquids and components to the Japanese market. Moving forward, we will promote the construction of environmentally friendly data centers in partnership with our partner companies and contribute to the realization of GX and a carbon-neutral society. If you are interested in immersion cooling, please feel free to contact us. Also, please visit our Inorganic Fine Division's website.
