When creating SDS, we utilize the latest databases of official substance information and domestic regulations that we have directly investigated and edited. (While GHS classification in accordance with the revised Labor Safety and Health Act is essential, we leverage many information sources, including not only GHS classification information publicly available from the government but also our independently classified data and classification result databases used overseas.) Even for products that require individual investigation, our specialized researchers can provide support. We have established a workflow for classification of hazardous properties in accordance with GHS, following guidelines from the United Nations and other sources. Our company can accommodate both options. In Japan, the GHS-type domestic standard is JIS Z7253, while the international standard is ISO 11014, and the descriptions are standardized. Based on these standards, our company prepares documents in accordance with domestic regulations such as the Chemical Substances Control Law, the Poisonous and Deleterious Substances Control Law, the Industrial Safety and Health Law, and the PRTR Law, as well as considering trends in regulations from the United Nations, ISO, OECD, the United States, and EU countries, in line with the latest international standards.
