Continuation of 2 11. Vacuum the entire area 12. Use a machine for substrate adjustment *Fine details and edges are done by hand. 13. Vacuum → 14. Wipe with alcohol *Since coating work will follow, simple repairs will also be done. ⇒ Scratches cannot be completely restored, but they will become much less noticeable. (Not all scratches can be repaired.) 15. Apply Everglass coat + Plus 16. Drying (1 day) 17. The next day, remove the protective covering while checking the finish and complete the process 18. Additionally, confirm with the management company and successfully complete the delivery This time, we refreshed flooring that had Everglass coat applied for the first time. It was so clean that it was hard to believe it had been lived in for over 10 years, and I could truly feel the effects of "Everglass coat." With this refresh work, I believe that even if it is rented out, tenants will be able to use it beautifully.

Free membership registrationIt has become the day of construction. The meeting has been completed by the day before, so now we just need to finish it beautifully. 1. Check and load the necessary liquids, equipment, and materials for the construction into the car. 2. Upon arrival at the site, greet the condominium manager and receive instructions on the delivery route and available elevators. 3. Protect the entrance and entrance door, and move all materials inside the room. *Do not leave them in the shared hallway. 4. Check the entire room. *I was looking forward to seeing the condition of the floor where the Everglass coat was applied 12 years ago. At a glance, there are some areas where the shine has diminished, but it looks clean. 5. Carefully check the floors in each room. *There are some dirt and minor scratches from daily life. 6. Lightly polish the areas with adhesive. 7. Try using a remover to see if it can clean the dirt. 8. Plan how to clean the entire area and prepare the necessary equipment. 9. Protect the area. (Don't forget inside the walk-in closet and the door stopper.) 10. Wipe the entire area with alcohol. *If it doesn't come off, use the remover. To Part 3.

Free membership registrationThis time, it is a request from the management company. They would like a "floor refresh" for the managed property that is being rented out. Upon discussing, it seems that this is a room where we applied the "Everglass Coat" about 12 years ago. A site visit is necessary for the "floor refresh," but since a site visit cannot be conducted this time, we will have a detailed meeting with the representative from the management company. <Details> - Property name for the requested work - Room number - Confirmation of the work area → Since we had kept the drawings from the previous work, we confirmed the square meters and created and submitted a quotation. - After submitting the quotation, we received an order confirmation and reconfirmed the details (we had prepared two patterns for the estimate this time). <Meeting regarding the construction> - Since there will be renovations (including cleaning), when will it be finished? Will we apply wax finishing to the flooring? - Are there any furniture or appliances left after the move-out? (There are rare cases where items are left behind.) - Is water and electricity available? (They may be turned off after moving out.) - What is our delivery deadline? We discussed these details in an email. - To be continued in the construction section -

Free membership registrationContinuation of 1 8. After thoroughly drying the surface post-stripping work, check carefully to ensure that there are no remaining stains and that the old wax has been properly removed. 9. Protect the baseboards. This time, since the room will be divided into three sections for the work, use masking tape to separate them. 10. Vacuum the entire area. 11. Prepare the floor surface. 12. After vacuuming again, wipe with alcohol. 13. After drying, apply "Color G Coat." Use a sponge instead of a mop for the edges and apply by hand. 14. After applying "Color G Coat" to the entire area, ensure it dries thoroughly. 15. Since the work is on a different day, vacuum thoroughly again. 16. Apply the top coat. (It will have a significant gloss immediately after application.) 17. Drying. During this drying period, repairs to the bookshelf were carried out. 18. Enter for inspection. (The gloss will settle down considerably.) 19. Clean the areas that were not coated as well. 20. Finally, with the help of the teachers, return the desks, copiers, etc., to their original positions. 21. Once everything is back in place, the job is complete. The construction that started in 2023 has been successfully completed. The floor, which had been scratched and faded due to children's toys, has been beautifully restored. Thank you.

Free membership registrationThe second phase of the "large project" construction that was carried out last August (refer to the previous article for the preparation phase) is finally here, and the construction's first day has arrived. This time, it's just the staff room, but there will be moving of desks, copiers, and other items on the first day. There are many large pieces of equipment. We will quickly have the teachers help with the moving. 1. First, we will protect the floor in the nursery room where the items will be moved—covering the corridor edges and the door with blankets. 2. We will start moving from the items closest to the entrance. We have numbered the desks for easy identification. The cords for outlets and other items have been organized for clarity. 3. After moving, the teachers will arrange the desks (as they will be working in the new location), and the copier will be set up for use. 4. We will protect the outlets and the cords running along the floor. *We will take photos to ensure we can restore everything to its original state. 5. The moving of desks, copiers, and other items is complete. 6. After checking the current state of the floor, we will begin the stripping process. *We will protect the walls and other areas from the liquid agents. We will use machines for the larger areas and manually strip the edges. During the stripping process, the floor will become dirty and stained with old wax. After the stripping work, we will ensure everything is thoroughly dried. The continuation of the work will be in Part 2.

Free membership registrationPreparation phase for the second stage of the "large-scale project" construction carried out in August 2023. Originally scheduled for the winter break of 2023, it has been postponed and the construction is now set for the summer break of 2024. We will promptly begin preparations. This time, since the construction is only for the staff room, approximately 80 square meters, we will calculate the necessary liquids, consumables, labor, and the number of days until the completion of the work, and create a "schedule." The client will also review it, and if there are any changes, we will revise it accordingly. The "schedule" will include: - Work content and required days - Detailed breakdown of tasks by phase - Indication of whether entry is prohibited or allowed based on work items - Preparations to be made before the construction day: 1. Moving items from desks and bookshelves 2. Disconnecting and organizing cables for PCs and copiers 'The day before construction' Based on the pre-prepared list: 1. Prepare the necessary liquids, materials, and equipment for the construction 2. Separate items needed for the first day from those to be used on subsequent days 3. Load the items into the vehicle while checking (liquids should be loaded last or on the morning of the construction day) Now, the construction is finally about to begin.

Free membership registrationThe beginning of the work: "Proposal Document" and the end: "Completion Report." Our company receives requests from various clients, including renovation companies and customers inquiring through our website. This time, we will outline that process. The workflow begins with receiving a request: Site survey ⇒ Proposal and estimate ⇒ Decision ⇒ Start of construction ⇒ Completion of construction. Now, specifically: 1. During the site survey, we take measurements and gather site information, as well as hear the customer's wishes. 2. Proposal Document - Clearly present proposals based on photos and drawings taken on-site. Estimate Document - Break down costs by item as much as possible, providing multiple patterns, not just one. 3. Schedule - Clearly indicate how many days each task will take. Samples - We will order flooring materials for coating application, as well as films and sheets. 4. Start of construction - While accommodating irregularities, ensure completion according to the schedule. 5. Completion of construction - Hand over the completion certificate (including details on regular maintenance). Completion Report (a summary with images and text of each task). With the above, we consider the construction complete.

Free membership registrationThis time it's the "Film Installation Edition." We received a request for installation from the owner of a training gym to whom we had previously sent a quote and samples. We promptly held a meeting. 1. The locations of the windows to be installed 2. The type of film 3. Desired construction date → After the installation date is decided, we will arrange the installation and the film. August 2024 - Installation Day After greeting the customer, we began the installation. Today's work is outside. Process 1-5 → Start of work - First, thoroughly clean the entire window glass. 6-8 → Completely wipe off moisture and prepare to apply the film. 9-12 → Apply the film. A total of 12 steps to complete one piece of glass. Since there are three pieces of glass this time, we will repeat this process two more times. Cautions for exterior film application It is significantly affected by the wind. - When applying the film with moisture, the wind quickly dries the moisture. - The film is thin, so it can bend or warp due to the wind. However, all three pieces were applied quite beautifully and turned out mirror-like. For detailed installation processes, please check the blog.

Free membership registrationContinuation from Part 1 After finishing the measurements and returning to the office, the first thing I do is pick up the films. I will search to see if there are any films that meet the conditions: 1. It must be applicable to wired glass. 2. It must be a heat-insulating film. 3. Can it be applied over an already installed film? Regarding condition 3, it seems better to remove the existing film, so I will proceed in that direction. I selected five types of films that seem feasible from the many available options. I will also properly calculate the "thermal breakage calculation" (see blog). For now, I will arrange samples of the picked films and create estimates for each, and if necessary, prepare comparison tables as well. Once this is done, all that’s left is to send it to the customer and wait for their response! - To be continued in the construction section -

Free membership registrationThis time, we received a request from the owner of a personal training gym. They asked, "Can we apply a film to counteract the heat, as the training space is getting too hot?" So, I went for a site visit. The gym is located in a residential area. It has west-facing windows, and I visited around 2 PM, but I was informed that it gets even hotter as the evening approaches. Since the windows are fixed, they cannot be opened, and the air conditioning is not very effective. I began checking the current situation. All the windows are made of [wire glass]. There are a total of five panes. I will show the owner some samples and explain the options. Then, I will take measurements: - Size and thickness of the windows - Shape of the glass - Are there any films or stickers applied to the glass? - Direction, presence of curtains, etc. (necessary for heat break calculations) It was discovered that two of the entrance door glass panes have a film (type unknown) applied to them. I will take the measurement results back to search for suitable films, prepare an estimate, and arrange for samples. - To be continued in Part 2 -
