Based on the measurement data, process management, inspection, and testing are conducted, making it very important to ensure the reliability of the measurement data. Our company uses Measurement System Analysis (MSA) to improve measurement technology and provide highly reliable measurement data. We have established an inspection system capable of responding to short delivery times in motorsports. We conduct inspections based on 100% inspection of parts, utilizing the features of seven types of inspection equipment to achieve accurate inspections within short delivery times. We differentiate between non-contact measuring instruments for efficiency and contact measuring instruments for high-precision measurements depending on the situation. **Features of JHI's Inspections:** - Possesses measurement technology for irregular shapes that are difficult to standardize, such as piping and complex-shaped parts. - Not only guarantees accuracy through regular calibration of measuring instruments but also performs adjustments after each use of the measuring equipment. - Strives to improve inspection skills daily to maintain measurement accuracy standards. - Capable of accepting inspection contracts and can also handle the aggregation of process capability indices (CPK). *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationThe history of welding is ancient, and it is said to have been used as a joining technique since ancient times. The long history of welding technology continues to evolve with ongoing technological development. At our company, we have introduced a circumferential automatic welding machine from Swagelok, responding to the increasing quality demands year by year. Additionally, we are challenging various welding technologies, including the development of dissimilar material welding techniques and welding analysis. Leveraging the specialized piping manufacturing techniques we have cultivated, we provide a comprehensive solution from design and analysis to welding evaluation, manufacturing, and inspection. **Strengths of JHI's Welding** - **Automatic Welding of Piping** - Achieving automatic welding of thinner pipes with various materials - Currently capable of stably welding pipes with an outer diameter of Φ3.2mm - Conducting various tests and inspections, such as setting welding parameters, confirming tensile strength, and inspecting welds with an endoscope to ensure quality *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case of developing and manufacturing an ultra-lightweight original hose. Using an automatic welding machine, we joined titanium fittings and titanium bent pipes, and combined them with HS79 hoses, which are often used in the aerospace industry, using an in-house dedicated crimping machine. Due to customer requirements, the titanium fittings had complex shapes and were processed using a 5-axis machining center. The bent pipes also required high precision, and the parts were precisely bent using an NC bender, with inspections conducted using jigs made with a resin 3D printer. By combining the HS79 hose, which is very lightweight and flexible and commonly used in the aerospace industry, we achieved an ultra-lightweight hose. 【Features】 ■ Machining using a 5-axis machining center ■ Parts precisely bent using an NC bender were inspected with jigs made from a resin 3D printer ■ Achieved ultra-lightweight hose *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationWe would like to introduce a case where we developed and manufactured sun visor parts for the Impreza (GC8). Due to aging deterioration, the parts were damaged, and since the original parts are no longer available, we created a replacement. We scanned the undamaged parts using a 3D measuring device and converted them into CAD data. Based on that CAD data, we modified the design to a shape that is easy to print with a 3D printer without compromising functionality and manufactured the parts. 【Case Overview】 ■ Issues - Parts were damaged due to aging deterioration - Original parts are no longer available ■ Solutions - Scanned the undamaged parts using a 3D measuring device and converted them into CAD data - Modified the design based on the CAD data to a shape that is easy to print with a 3D printer without compromising functionality *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationThe main advantage of the Convoluted Hose is its lightweight nature and, above all, its high flexibility. Compared to rubber hoses of the same diameter, it is extremely lightweight, and the minimum bend radius of the hose is about half that of rubber hoses. While being lightweight and highly flexible is beneficial, when used at higher pressures, a type known as "Smooth Bore Hose" is used. Choosing between the two types requires selecting the appropriate one based on conditions such as the required hose size, type of fluid, pressure, and temperature, and it is also necessary to select the blade from materials like stainless steel, nylon, or aramid fibers. You may encounter various concerns when selecting a hose, but if you have any questions or issues, please feel free to contact us. *For more detailed information, you can view it through the related links. Free membership registrationAt Japan Hydro System Industry (JHI), we use automatic welding machines manufactured by Swagelok, a company based in the United States, for pipe welding. Even though "welding" can be summed up in one word, there are dozens of methods, and the technical and academic aspects are very broad and deep. The subjects range from piping to structural materials like plates, and the content is such that it could fill several thick books, making it impossible to grasp all aspects of welding. However, our company continues to pursue welding technology specifically focused on "high-quality welding of small-diameter pipes." In pipe welding, there are several key important factors, and in this column, I will provide a brief explanation of one example regarding the "setting of welding conditions" for automatic welding machines. *For more detailed content of the column, please refer to the related links. Free membership registrationThe features of our AM solutions lie in our expertise in design and analysis, which are essential in the pre-process of additive manufacturing. In AM, a variety of considerations are required to achieve optimal design from material selection, shaping, to secondary processing. Leveraging the design, analysis, and inspection technologies we have cultivated so far, we aim to make broad proposals for applications in new industries, from decorative parts to functional components. Our "ARGO500" boasts a wide variety of usable materials, and a significant feature is its compatibility with materials other than those from Roboze. Additionally, it has a high-temperature chamber function, allowing for the shaping of super engineering plastics, and its relatively large build size is also an advantage, accommodating shaping and evaluation for material development purposes. [Features] - Expertise in design and analysis in the pre-process of additive manufacturing - Achieving optimal design from material selection, shaping, to secondary processing - Broad proposals leveraging the design, analysis, and inspection technologies we have developed *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
