The "ME Series" is a module power supply for equipment that can continuously deliver rated output current between 0°C and 45°C. When the load resistance value becomes overloaded below the rated value, the output current is automatically limited, transitioning from a constant voltage characteristic to a nearly constant current characteristic. This current transition output characteristic does not change the maximum output current or short-circuit current even if the output voltage is reset. Due to this characteristic, when the output is short-circuited, the power loss in the series control transistor increases sharply; however, this product is designed to withstand prolonged short-circuit conditions.
