The removal of black scale and heat treatment scale affects the corrosion resistance of the product and the finish of surface treatments such as plating. Generally, scale removal is performed using methods such as: - Shot blasting (for mass-produced items or large parts) - Grinding and polishing (for localized removal or small parts, in small quantities) - Chemical treatments such as pickling (regardless of quantity, size, or shape). Mechanical methods like shot blasting and grinding can be challenging for fine parts. Scale removal for fine parts is often done through chemical treatment; however, unlike mechanical methods that physically grind away the material, there may be residual strong scale or impurities left behind, which can result in an uneven finish in plating. Our "acid barrel polishing" combines the effects of chemical dissolution using acid and physical polishing through barrel polishing, making it a scale removal method suitable for fine parts. This method allows for efficient scale removal, burr removal, and pre-treatment for plating of fine parts, leading to a reduction in processing time. Prototyping is also possible, so please feel free to contact us.

Free membership registrationOne of the appearance troubles of plating is "gloss unevenness." Have you ever experienced that the finish of the plating is not uniform, that the gloss differs between the front and back of the product, or that there are differences in gloss between lots? Various factors influence the finish of plating, but what kind of differences in conditions can cause gloss unevenness? Factors that affect the gloss of plating include: A) Differences in the surface roughness of the product substrate B) Residual oil, dirt, or scale on the product C) Differences in plating film thickness D) Management of the plating solution (such as pH and gloss agent addition) E) Etching during pre-treatment of plating Possible countermeasures for each factor include: a) Uniforming surface roughness through polishing or blasting b) Reviewing pre-treatment conditions and barrel polishing or blasting c) Reviewing plating conditions, racking methods, and jigs d) Regular liquid analysis and appropriate replenishment and renewal e) Reviewing pre-treatment conditions (such as pickling) Since the treatment processes and conditions vary among plating companies, it can be difficult to respond even if the cause is understood. Our company can adjust treatment conditions according to the state of the product. Please feel free to consult with us.

Free membership registrationBlack dyeing treatment is a surface treatment that reacts iron products in a high-temperature alkaline solution to form a black oxide film known as magnetite (Fe3O4). It has rust prevention effects and benefits such as anti-reflection and aesthetic enhancement. Black dyeing of general steel materials (raw materials) usually results in a deep black finish. However, for some materials, such as cast iron or those that have been hardened, as well as alloy steels that contain high amounts of chromium or other nickel, the result may be a reddish-black or a light gray instead of black. Additionally, wire-cut surfaces may appear brownish, resembling rust. The following causes can be considered: - Residual oil (insufficient degreasing) - Inadequate removal of the oxide film - High content of components other than iron in the material, leading to uneven reactions - Rough surface of the material, resulting in uneven reactions The following countermeasures can be taken: - Strengthening degreasing and cleaning - Removal of the oxide film through acid washing - Removal of thick oxide films and uniformity of surface roughness through sandblasting - Selection of black dyeing solutions suitable for alloy steels (such as SUS) Based on years of experience, our company selects black dyeing processes tailored to the material and processing history. If you have any concerns about black dyeing, please feel free to consult us.

Free membership registrationBlack dyeing treatment is also referred to as "ferric oxide treatment." When iron products are reacted in a high-temperature alkaline solution, black iron oxide known as ferric oxide is produced. The black dyeing film has the property of gradually discoloring (oxidizing) to red over time as it reacts with water and oxygen in the air. The time it takes for discoloration to occur varies depending on the type of iron material, processing history, thickness of the black dyeing film, and storage conditions. To prevent discoloration of the black dyeing, it is important to constantly protect the surface with oil or similar substances and to avoid reactions with moisture in the air. Care should be taken during long-term storage as the oil may dry out. Our company adjusts the black dyeing treatment process according to the type of iron material. Additionally, while products are usually completed with an oil coating, if desired, a clear coat can be applied to further enhance corrosion resistance. Please feel free to consult us with any concerns regarding black dyeing.

Free membership registrationOur company collaborates with partner factories to perform "oxidation coloring treatment." This technology alters the thickness of the oxide film present on stainless steel and titanium through chemical processing, allowing us to control the interference colors, which change subtly depending on the viewing angle. While enhancing the metallic luster and surface texture, we can achieve vibrant colors and a variety of hues; however, due to the chemical changes involved, there are limitations to the colors that can be produced. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.*

Free membership registrationOur company collaborates with partner factories to perform "anodizing treatment." This is a technology that artificially generates a thick oxide film on the surface of aluminum, which enhances the corrosion resistance, decorative properties, and wear resistance of aluminum. Additionally, by applying a sealing treatment after anodizing, we can prevent color fading and increase the strength of the film, thereby improving corrosion resistance and weather resistance. This process is used in various aluminum products around us, such as miscellaneous goods, home appliance parts, and building materials. 【Features】 ■ Various color tones can be achieved by adsorbing dyes onto the oxide film. ■ The surface can be hardened, increasing its strength. ■ The film may peel off if bent. ■ There is a possibility of cracking at temperatures above 100°C. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Free membership registration"Black dyeing treatment" is a method that forms a black ferric oxide film on the surface of metals to prevent rust. It results in a black film with a metallic luster, giving it a beautiful appearance. A uniform thin rust-proof film is formed through chemical treatment, with a thickness of about 1μm, resulting in minimal dimensional changes, making it suitable for high-precision components such as precision machine parts, cutting tools, and other high-accuracy parts. Our company typically applies oil after black dyeing to protect the film. If you want to enhance the corrosion resistance of the black dye film, a "black dyeing + top coat" option is also available. 【Specifications】 ■Applicable materials: Iron, SUS ■Tank dimensions: H350×W450×D450 ■Processable size: H300×W350×D350 *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
