However, in recent years, the use of the thick wall method has increased, and it has become common to attach board substrates to the ceilings. The traditional open-work ceiling cannot be installed under a board substrate, but the direct-attach open-work ceiling "One-Touch Pon" can be installed under a board substrate. It is commonly used not only in Japanese rooms but also in modern Japanese rooms and Western-style rooms built with the thick wall method.

It is possible to manufacture a Duralight substrate up to 6 meters in length and 1 meter in width. It can also be used as a material for sheets with a thickness of 6 mm that are semi-non-combustible. Since both non-combustible veneer and sheet materials are produced, you can choose according to your budget. It can be installed in lightweight ceilings (using hanging hardware) or directly on the board underground (using a direct-adhesive perforated shape).
