Siltride is a layer of hydrogenated amorphous silicon nitride. The Siltride coating is composed of amorphous silicon oxynitride (a-SiOXNY:H), a robust chemical that significantly enhances corrosion resistance, hardness, wear resistance, and electrical resistivity. Siltride 1000, the most hydrophilic coating from SilcoTek, meaning it "attracts water," has a low water contact angle of 10°, making it ideal for improving the surface properties of critical process flow paths in medical devices, life sciences equipment, and oil and gas facilities. The Siltride coating is SilcoTek's best solution for the most demanding applications and has passed tests at Japanese certification inspection agencies, complying with the Food Sanitation Act.

"Dursan" is a functional layer of amorphous silicon, oxygen, and carbon. It is a highly versatile coating with properties such as corrosion resistance, chemical resistance, hydrophobicity, lubricity, and non-stickiness. It is NSF certified, compliant with FDA standards, and suitable for harsh and challenging applications. Coated stainless steel can exhibit performance similar to that of special alloys at a fraction of the cost in several common applications.
