【Consultation Details】 We received the following consultation from a device manufacturer: - The prototype transformer does not exhibit the expected electrical characteristics. - There is variability in the measurement values, and the characteristics are unstable. There should have been no issues in the design, but the actual prototype did not perform as expected, and the cause could not be identified. The request this time was for: "I would like you to impregnate it while the core is assembled." This was the specified process. Issues The electrical characteristics of the transformer were: - Unstable - Not reaching the design values To establish it as a product, stabilization of the electrical characteristics was necessary. < Hypothesis from Akita Transformer > After reviewing the situation, Akita Transformer proposed the following hypothesis: There is a possibility that the impregnation process is affecting the characteristics. Depending on how the impregnation resin enters and the state of the magnetic circuit, it is believed that there may be an impact on the coil and magnetic characteristics.

Contracted services for transformer inspection processes (full lot dielectric strength testing) In transformer manufacturing, the process that influences final quality is "inspection." In particular, electrical tests including dielectric strength testing are crucial for confirming the safety and reliability of the product. However, in actual manufacturing sites, many manufacturers face challenges such as: - Lack of dielectric strength testing equipment - Inability to implement full lot inspection systems - Difficulty in making capital investments for small lot prototypes - Desire to outsource only the inspection process Akita Transformers offers contracted services solely for transformer inspection processes. We act as an external partner supporting the quality assurance processes of transformer manufacturers and power supply equipment manufacturers. Inspection processes that meet manufacturer quality At Akita Transformers, we conduct full lot inspections, including dielectric strength testing, to meet the quality requirements of transformer manufacturers. We use comprehensive testing equipment to check the condition of each unit. Inspection services provided: - Electrical testing - Dielectric strength testing (600V to 3000V) We perform quality confirmation as an inspection process based on manufacturer quality standards.
