We offer a lineup of "DLC" for molds and machine parts, and "DLC-i" for aluminum alloy cutting tools. DLC coating demonstrates an overwhelmingly low friction coefficient against metal materials, achieving a friction coefficient comparable to oil lubrication even in dry conditions. It improves release properties to suppress adhesion of soft metals (such as aluminum alloys). The advantages of PVD coatings that can be processed at temperatures below 500℃ have been maintained, while enabling the formation of ceramic protective films on the inner surfaces of deep holes.
