We are pleased to announce the development of the automotive DC/DC converter transformer "VER9060V" (W14.9mm × D10.0mm × H6.2mm), with sample availability starting in February 2025. This product enhances insulation performance in our automotive transformer "VER series," taking into account the recent trend towards higher voltages in xEV systems. The "VER9060V" improves voltage resistance by using FIW wire (fully insulated wire) for both the primary and secondary windings. By adopting a material with a CTI LV.1 rating for the base, we have minimized the required creepage distance (in accordance with IEC 60664). The VER series features a product structure that allows the core to be housed in the dead space of the base, achieving a low profile and compact design while maintaining ultra-high voltage resistance. As a result, this product is suitable for inverters for xEVs and flyback transformers for battery junction boxes. We will continue to expand our lineup to meet further market needs and provide a wide range of solutions.
