"Oven Shield" is a coating agent that makes the cleaning and maintenance of troublesome flux residues easy. The application is simple; just apply it in advance with a brush or roller to the cooling section of the reflow oven where flux tends to adhere. Once flux accumulates, it can be perfectly removed by simply peeling off the coating film, without the need for chemicals, solvents, or rags. Apply a film thickness of about 0.38mm to the areas of the printed circuit board that you want to mask. Dry at room temperature for 45 minutes (15 to 20 minutes at 66°C), and it can be peeled off (drying time depends on humidity). Durability guidelines for the mask: 16 hours at 82°C or below, 2 hours at 82 to 120°C, and 30 minutes at 120 to 149°C. Not suitable for temperatures above 150°C. Dries in one hour at room temperature (fast drying in 20-30 minutes at 65°C). It allows for easy and smooth masking on the board. It protects the board not only during the wave soldering process but also during the assembly process. When peeling off, simply pull gently with your hand or tweezers. It has moderate elasticity, does not tear apart easily, and since no adhesive is used, there is no residue left, eliminating the need for cleaning after peeling. Complies with lead-free standards.
