KOA has released the "TF16VN-D series," a high-rated voltage type of rectangular chip current fuse (for automotive use). Traditionally, the rated voltage was DC32V, but the high-rated voltage type achieves DC50V to DC125V. Application example: Overcurrent protection for automotive electronic devices.

While the 1608 size (rated power 0.2W) has already been released, the 2012 size (rated power 0.25W) and 3216 size (rated power 0.33W) have been added to accommodate a wide range of applications. These are ultra-high precision metal glaze thick-film chip resistors with a resistance tolerance of ±0.1% and a temperature coefficient of resistance (T.C.R.) of ±25×10^-6/K. They are high-reliability products with excellent long-term stability, showing a resistance change rate of ±0.2% or less in reliability tests. At the same time, the sulfur-resistant version RS73-RT has also been added to the lineup. Examples of applications: Use in high-precision applications such as automotive, industrial machinery, and industrial measurement, and can replace metal film (thin film) chip resistors.

Free membership registrationWe have added new rated current values to the "TF10BN series" chip current fuses. Previously, the maximum rated current value was 3.15A, but we have now released 3.5A, 4.0A, and 5.0A. This contributes to downsizing circuits, including downsizing from the 1608 size. These products have obtained safety standards UL284.14 and c-UL (CSA) C22.2. Examples of applications: laptops, smartphones/tablet PCs, digital cameras.
