Recently, I had the opportunity to give a presentation about our company and career education in a comprehensive class for sixth graders at Ueda Elementary School. This was part of our CSR activities aimed at contributing to the local community, and I was honored to conduct the class. During the lesson, I introduced our company's business activities and its role in society, as well as discussed the significance of "working" and future career paths. The students listened attentively and seemed to be contemplating the meaning of "working" and the skills necessary to work as adults. After the class, I received feedback from the students expressing their desire to "challenge various things without fearing opposition or failure" and their intention to "learn many things from people and books," making it a very meaningful time. Moving forward, we will continue to deepen our collaboration with the local community and actively promote activities that contribute to the development of the next generation.

Free membership registrationIn early October, we conducted comprehensive disaster prevention drills at both the headquarters and the Urasa factory. During the headquarters drill, we introduced a shakeout drill for the first time to ensure that participants could quickly take safety actions such as "drop down low, protect your head, and stay still" in the event of an earthquake. We also borrowed a water extinguisher from the local fire department, allowing everyone to experience firefighting. At the Urasa factory, we conducted a drill simulating a situation where evacuation routes were blocked. We aimed to instill the habit of regularly checking multiple emergency exits so that participants could evacuate calmly in case of an emergency. Although comprehensive disaster prevention drills tend to become routine each year, the disaster prevention committees at each site are planning these drills through trial and error to ensure that correct judgments can be made during emergencies.

Free membership registrationOn October 27th, the 20th Minami-Uonuma City Relay Marathon was held, and for the first time, our company formed a team to participate with the aim of promoting regional development and enhancing health. We connected the baton over a total distance of 27 km, divided into 7 sections with 7 members. It all started when our running-loving president began to encourage employees to join. We managed to gather runners from new hires to veteran employees, and we arrived on the day of the event safely. Some practiced for this day, while others were too busy to train much. Our goal was "to pass the baton without any dropouts and reach the finish line." As a result, we achieved our goal and were able to share the joy with everyone involved. Our final ranking was "36th out of 61 teams" in the general category, which was a good result for our first participation.

Free membership registrationAs already announced, our company underwent a change in leadership this May. We held a ceremony to express our gratitude to the president (now honorary chairman) who served as our leader for 33 years since the founding. Many employees participated, and those who could not attend on the day contributed by preparing a message video for the president, allowing all employees to convey their appreciation. From now on, we will move forward with renewed determination under the new president. Thank you for your continued support.
