In March of this year, the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), and Fukui Prefecture signed a tripartite collaboration agreement. Based on this agreement, we will develop a robotics development facility within the Fukui Prefectural Industrial Technology Center, support the introduction of robotics technology for local companies, and conduct pioneering robotics development combining IoT and AI technologies. HyperWorks is a CAE software package capable of analysis in complex areas such as structural analysis, thermal fluid analysis, multi-body dynamics, and dynamic optimization calculations. It is widely used in the development of industrial robots and machine tools in Japan, and in the aerospace industry, it is utilized worldwide as optimization calculation software to achieve the development and weight reduction of cutting-edge composite products.

VSim is a numerical analysis application that can simulate the electromagnetic fields in spaces where complex structures and charged particle motion exist. It supports ultra-parallel computing using tens of thousands of processor cores, allowing for the modeling of complex shapes and various physical phenomena, and obtaining computational results within practical timeframes. Professor Jim Browning from Boise State University, who currently uses VSim, stated, "The FDTD-PIC simulation of VSim not only has powerful parallel computing capabilities but is also designed to be user-friendly for researchers who are not familiar with advanced simulation setups, which has been beneficial for magnetron research."
