This is a heat-shielding film for window glass that can be removed with a self-adhesive sheet that does not have adhesive (glue) on the sheet. By simply applying it, it retains the light transmission of the window glass while cutting about 99% of ultraviolet rays, which are the cause of sunburn and deterioration. Additionally, it cuts about 70% of near-infrared rays, which are responsible for heat, and measurements taken after application showed a temperature difference of up to 12°C at the window. Furthermore, it is expected to provide a glass shattering prevention effect against debris from typhoons and other sources. The recommended replacement period is 7 years (the replacement period may vary depending on usage conditions and environment).

Free membership registrationWith a visible light transmittance of over 70%, it boasts a high level of transparency, allowing the glass to maintain its beautiful clarity even after painting. It cuts more than 80% of the near-infrared wavelengths (980-1280nm) that cause uncomfortable, burning sensations on the skin and are felt as the hottest by people. By simply applying it to windows, it can suppress indoor temperature increases by 5 to 10 degrees Celsius, resulting in an expected energy-saving effect of about 20%. Additionally, it cuts more than 90% of ultraviolet rays, protecting the body from spots and freckles, and preventing browning and deterioration of furniture and products.

Free membership registrationThe Obayashi-style greening method is characterized by the use of "E Soil," a non-decaying bark soil developed by Obayashi Environmental Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. "E Soil" is made from specially processed cedar and cypress bark and is a 100% natural recycled building material. The features of "E Soil" are as follows: 1. It has the natural antibacterial and insect-repelling properties of cedar and cypress, which helps suppress the growth of root rot fungi and other pathogens in the soil, thereby reducing the incidence of diseases in grass and flowers. 2. Since cedar and cypress bark does not decompose, it maintains its fibrous state for a long time, eliminating the need for soil replacement or addition. 3. It is lightweight, allowing it to accommodate the load-bearing capacity of existing structures. 4. It does not get blown away by the wind or washed away by rain, making installation simple as it only requires placing "E Soil." There is no need for the drainage layer typically required in conventional greening. 5. Due to its high gas phase ratio, the soil thickness can be shallower than usual, while still adequately storing and supplying oxygen, water, and nutrients to plants, promoting strong root growth and supporting plant development over many years. These features allow for low-cost installation, and after installation, the use of pesticides and other chemicals is greatly reduced, enabling low maintenance.

Free membership registrationBy painting the roof and exterior walls, it efficiently reflects solar heat and mitigates the rise in temperature inside the building. ProTsubal is a residential paint developed by Nippon ProTsubal Co., Ltd., under a technology licensing agreement with the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA). Among various JAXA technologies, it particularly evolved a coating material that withstands high temperatures during rocket atmospheric flight, integrating unique technologies and exploring alternative materials to meet various needs, resulting in a thermal control paint. ProTsubal employs a selected acrylic silicone resin that, as water evaporates, brings the resin components closer together, bonding them to create a new, strong paint film. It is the only technology that achieves a homogeneous and stable paint film from the surface to the interior. With special pigments and ceramic balloons, it has high thermal control properties and excellent dirt-repellent performance, allowing rain to wash away dirt and protect the building over the long term while maintaining durability. There is a wide variety of colors available, with 20 standard colors and the option for custom mixing. Photo provided by the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).
