Tokyo Bolt and Screw Machinery has succeeded in mass-producing molds through direct engraving on cemented carbide. As can be understood from the fact that cemented carbide is used for tools and molds to process regular metals, it is an extremely hard metal. Traditionally, machining cemented carbide required "very expensive special machining centers and special cutting tools, which made processing possible but limited in shape and precision, resulting in significant costs." Therefore, it was common knowledge that processing cemented carbide was done through electrical discharge machining. Our company has conducted years of research with the goal of mass-producing cemented carbide molds at low cost, specifically aiming for direct engraving and omitting lapping. We have now achieved both. As a result, while maintaining quality equal to or better than traditional methods, we have been able to achieve running costs of less than half compared to conventional methods with 24-hour continuous operation.

Tokyo Bolt and Screw Co., Ltd. specializes in processing difficult materials such as carbide and iridium, including irregular shapes, fine details, and deep hole machining, as well as lap processing technology. Recently, carbide, known for its wear resistance and impact resistance, has been widely used in mechanical components. In the manufacturing of motors and other devices, automatic winding machines are used to coil wires. It seems that the use of carbide winding nozzles at the tip of these machines for wire winding is increasing. Customers who are not satisfied with standard products made in China are encouraged to contact us. We can accommodate various shapes.

A carbide mold used for shaping micro parts through cold forging processing. Our company specializes in fine and deep hole machining, capable of handling hole diameters down to 0.15 millimeters and depths of about 6 millimeters. We are also skilled in irregular shapes and steps. Even with extremely fine dimensions, we can perform lapping on the inner surface of the holes to achieve a mirror finish.
