The picoEmerald from the German company APE automatically overlaps extremely short pulse trains both temporally and spatially, providing three outputs: 1064 nm laser output, OPO signal, and OPO idler. Reliable pulse synchronization can be achieved, and fully automated control allows for hands-free operation. It produces high-quality picosecond pulses, making it ideal for CARS and microscopic spectroscopy. In addition to CARS and SRS, it is also perfect for applications in stimulated Raman microscopic spectroscopy and multimodal imaging, including multiphoton fluorescence and second harmonic generation. The wavelength can be tuned from 700 to 1950 nm, and even with changes, the two-color light pulses completely overlap both temporally and spatially.
