In a site where large workpieces were being transported by crane, there was a long waiting time for the crane, and there was also a risk of the workpieces falling from the ceiling while being suspended during transport. By introducing an AGV (Automated Guided Vehicle), we achieved labor savings and improved productivity. Previously, products were transported between buildings in the factory using trucks, but with the introduction of this product, automatic transport was realized, leading to successful labor reduction. We handle "system transport carts." AGVs (tire-type automatic transport vehicles) achieve a stopping accuracy of ±10mm for heavy load transport. They can be manufactured to accommodate loads from lightweight items up to 50 tons. RGVs (rail-type automatic transport vehicles) achieve a stopping accuracy of ±25mm for heavy load transport. Various tags are used to detect stopping positions.
