During welding, titanium is covered by shielding gas, preventing exposure to air, which helps to avoid oxidation and eliminates spatter. Welding inside assembly pipes is very challenging, and during material preparation, each part is carefully angled and manufactured with attention to dimensional accuracy. We would like to introduce a case of complex shape machining (machining) that we have undertaken. By dividing the parts and processing them with two MC machines, we achieved production with a 2-axis machining center. Through trial and error with the responsible operator on how to process products equivalent to 5-axis machining using in-house processing machines, we successfully completed the machining. The above product is processed from a round bar of Φ80×150mm.
