Additionally, it has recently gained attention as an alternative to fluoropolymers in terms of chemical resistance. However, while the molding temperatures for general plastics range from 200 to 300°C, PEEK resin requires a high temperature of 400°C, and the mold temperature must also be set around 200°C, necessitating very high temperatures for molding. Molding at high temperatures can lead to significant variations in quality, requiring specialized know-how.
