This system is software that integrates the IEC61850 communication driver with a database (Microsoft SQL Server). Commercial SCADA systems that do not support IEC61850 communication can also be connected via the database. It allows for easy acquisition of IEC61850 monitoring information and enables control information to be written to the database, thus allowing operation of IEDs.
