The Stefa HPRSS is an oil seal optimized for high-pressure applications, designed to handle various combinations of rotational speeds, chemical resistance, and pressure. Its innovative seal design accommodates shaft eccentricity and misalignment, ensuring stable sealing performance even in harsh environments. The Stefa seals were developed in collaboration with customers, utilizing Trelleborg's finite element analysis (FEA) and testing equipment. These seals provide solutions compliant with global standards for various types of hydraulic motors and pumps. They have been validated for pressures up to 20 MPa and speeds up to 17 meters per second (MPS).
