In image processing methods, each company adopts its own unique image processing software, resulting in weak correlation, and there are many unstable factors such as the detection of debris around the inner diameter and hole deformation. In contrast, the contact method measures the deflection of a pin by making it contact the lower surface of the inner diameter and using a laser, allowing measurements to be taken without being affected by debris or hole deformation. Additionally, since it does not use image processing and measures physically, there are no errors between software. The contact method laser measuring device (concentricity measuring device) developed by LOGOS is currently pending patent application.
